Total Pursuit: Kids (7-12)


Fit Kids is designed to instill a love for health and fitness for our athletes ages 7-11. Our programming is geared towards working on the 10 general physical skills (cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy) with a big emphasis on good movement patterns for functional movements and body awareness. Light loading may be appropriate if the athlete shows proficient technique. In this age group we will also introduce good nutrition habits as well as goal setting and leadership skills. We will utilize games and short workouts in a fun environment to reinforce proper technique and moving correctly in space while promoting team work, problem solving, and competition.

Fit Kids has classes twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30-5:30pm. This class is capped at 12 athletes with 2 coaches, keeping our coach to athlete ratio low at 1:6.

Our youth program director and head coach for this class is Michael McGahan, a certified Level 1 CrossFit coach. Coach Michael will be leading the class with our assistant Eva Morgan, who is currently an athlete in our CrossFit Teens class.
